In 2025 I ran the London Marathon, promising myself this really would be the last time! But, through the pain and chaffing I realised how much I love the running community. The love and support for each other is incredible and the humour, well, that's quite unmatched. So, welcome to Miles in Ink – my tribute to the glorious madness that is running… and the slightly unhinged legends who do it.

I'm talking about you – the pre-dawn plodders, the mid-race snack smugglers, the ultra nutters who think 100 miles is a nice day out, and the long-suffering support crews who’ve seen way too many toenails. You’re my people. My tribe. My cult of weirdos in compression socks.

At Miles in Ink, you will find apparel that says what we’re all thinking – usually with inappropriate language, dry wit, and absolutely no regard for social niceties. Because let’s face it: runners are tough, gritty, slightly feral creatures who survive on gels, endorphins, and the savage banter that holds us together when everything else is falling apart (usually our knees).

Whether you’re smashing PBs at parkrun, hallucinating through an ultra, or just here because your mate dragged you to “cheer at the finish” (sorry, it’s never just 20 minutes), I hope I’ve got something for you.

This isn’t just a shop. It’s a shrine to the nonsense we do for “fun.”
